We are Alex Perl and Jim Kane of Ferrets Home. We’ve been passionate about the ferret breed since having these pets join our families over thirty years ago.With the support and mentorship of exceptional breeding partners, my dream of spreading the love and companionship of ferrets became a reality. I was fortunate to connect with Judy Friedman of Coons’Kin Cattery, and it was clear from the start that she was the perfect ally in my journey.A fast friendship blossomed, and with the arrival of exceptional ferrets named Yoffi and Simba, I was propelled into the world of breeding. Additionally, I have partnered with Cindy Rogers and Wayne Weikhorst, DVM, of Suncoon Ferrets, ensuring that I work with the best in the field. Their success and contributions to the breed speak volumes about their dedication and expertise.At Ferrets Home, we aspire to provide carefully selected families with ferret companions who become cherished family members.Our ferrets are considered part of our family, and they live with us until their perfect adoptive families are found.
